I have absolutely NO interest in continuing this book. First of all, there is no plot. It's just been chapters and chapters of short flashbacks so far and they are not going anywhere. I keep losing interest and I am not retaining any information because nothing is happening and there is nothing to retain.The writing style is pretty detached for first person POV. There seems to be a lot of telling and the chapters are so short there is never an opportunity to get any kind of flow going. And then there are a couple of weird spots where the main character talks to the reader directly. It jolts me right out of the narrative and it feels quite amateurish. I gave it 50 pages. I just have no desire to continue. I am bored to tears.
