This is not normally the type of book I read. I'm not into faeries. I find the idea rather corny to be honest. But I did like the book and I'm glad that I gave it a chance. If I could, I would rate the book at 3.5 stars. Things I loved: most of the characterizations. I loved Grimalkin, Puck, Iron Horse, the pack-rats, Ash and Meghan. The settings were really well done, although I have seen better. It was well written.Things I didn't care for: The plot itself was kind of worn out I thought. It was like a Disney movie. I feel like the author just scratched the surface with the plot. But maybe that's why there are three more books.I liked it enough to continue reading. And I will, and I hope that I will be able to give the next book 4 stars.
